DESIGNER'S NOTES This classic silver plated pendant features an element inspired by an enamel cigarette case inlaid with gold and diamonds by the jeweller to the Russian Tsars, Peter Carl Faberge (1846-1920) Fabergé's enamel cigarette cases, produced in his St. Petersburg workshops between the 1880s and 1910s, exemplify refined luxury. Using guilloché engraving beneath translucent enamel, he achieved luminous surfaces in pastel or jewel tones. Gold mounts, cabochon gems, and precise hinges reflected Imperial Russian tastes, elevating everyday objects into art. STYLING The pendant is a few centimetres in diameter with a 450mm chain, so style outside high necklines, or against the skin with lower necklines.
