DESIGNER'S NOTES This classic silver plated pendant features a design of tulips in the Iznik style. Iznik pottery, produced in sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Ottoman Turkey, is celebrated for its vibrant cobalt blues, turquoise and red on a white fritware base. Designs combine floral motifs, arabesques and geometric patterns, often arranged symmetrically. Highly prized for mosques, palaces and ceramics, Iznik wares exemplify technical mastery and Ottoman aesthetic sophistication. STYLING The pendant is a few centimetres in diameter with a 450mm chain, so style outside high necklines, or against the skin with lower necklines.
