Paint Splash Face Mask
Description
DESIGNER'S NOTES A courtesy face mask with a paint splash design. Beyond Jackson Pollock, splash and drip techniques in modern art explore spontaneity, gesture and the physicality of paint itself. Artists such as Sam Francis and Helen Frankenthaler extended these methods, using poured, flicked or thinned paints to create luminous fields of colour and dynamic movement. Unlike Pollock's dense web of lines, Frankenthaler's soak-stain approach allowed pigments to soak into unprimed canvas, producing translucent washes that interact with texture and gravity. Contemporary practitioners also experiment with non-traditional tools, pouring from containers, hoses or syringes, embracing chance while controlling rhythm and composition. These techniques challenge conventional brushwork, emphasizing process, materiality and the unpredictability inherent in the act of painting. COLOURS DETAILING 3-ply, soft metal nose bridge, adjustable ear loops, and stretch surround. Multicolor One size fits all Machine washable 100% Cotton Machine Finished
